Sohail (PhD student), Yuanchun (PSM student), and Madalyn (undergraduate) presented on "Wildfire Impacts on Membrane-Based Drinking Water Treatment."
Dakota (undergraduate) presented on "Chitosan as an Alternative Coagulant in Low-Pressure Membrane Filtration during Harmful Algal Bloom."

Aug 2023, Dr. Jin group received funding ($278,156) from the USDA Forest Service (PI: Kevin Bladon) to study the impact of wildfire on drinking water quality and treatment.

Dr. Jin group received Agriculture Research Foundation’s Funding ($15,000) to develop ion-exchange membrane for selective recovery of nutrient ions from waste.

Dr. Jin group received funding ($749,977) from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA)’s Agriculture and Food Research Initiative Competitive Grant to support the proposed research on Nutrients and Clean Water Recovery from Waste for Sustainable Food Production.
